Good evening everyone. So . . . it’s not a good idea to set up your books on Kindle late at night when you are tired and your brain is mush. When I was deciding on a title for the first Necromancer book, I went back and forth between, “Deadly Legacy” and “Deadly Lineage”. I chose the latter but when I posted it to Kindle, I wrote the title as, “Deadly Legacy” which doesn’t match the book cover and isn’t the correct title anyway (brownie points to anyone who caught that ahead of time—obviously, I get zero brownie points).
So, the short of it is this, I had to cancel the pre-order. If you pre-ordered the book (thank you by the way), it will cancel this for you. I am in the process of re-uploading it, but it might take a day or 2. The plus side is that it might actually be available earlier than July 31st.
I will keep you posted, and again, I’m very sorry. I actually thought I corrected the title, but when I “corrected” it, I think I actually, “uncorrected” it, if that makes a bit of sense.
I’m reusing an image from a post long ago because I believe it is fitting. This was Newton in his cat cave. That’s about how I feel right now. I’d like to duck and cover, but alas, that is not a productive choice when you’re a human trying to rectify a mistake.
Thank you all, and so sorry for the confusion. I’d like to promise it won’t happen again, but sigh . . . that might be a false promise. I will try my best!
